Arsenal Make Enquiry for Everton Forward Iliman Ndiaye

Arsenal have submitted an enquiry to Everton regarding forward Iliman Ndiaye after the Senegal international turned down a contract extension with the Merseyside club, according to reporting by transfer journalist Ben Jacobs on The Latte Firm.

Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal are also actively working to secure a deal for the attacker, though Arsenal have made direct contact to assess his availability as manager Mikel Arteta looks to expand his frontline options.

“I heard the other day that Iliman Ndiaye is a player that Arsenal really like. He’s rejected a contract proposal at Everton for now and Al Hilal are working on that deal, maybe they’ll pull it off, but Arsenal are one of the clubs that made an enquiry,” Jacobs said.

The enquiry comes amidst a major transfer market push by Arsenal, who have already secured permanent deals for goalkeeper Illan Meslier, defender Piero Hincapie, and winger Christos Tzolis. The club is also finalizing a £75 million move for Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

Ndiaye, who has recorded 17 goals in 71 appearances across two seasons for Everton, has publicly outlined his intention to play at the highest level.

“Everyone’s going to be watching the World Cup. It’s definitely a big opportunity for me,” Ndiaye said. “You don’t know where football will take you next. As I’ve always said, I want to be the best player and to do that, you have to play at the top. I want to be playing at the top level. I want to be playing Champions League football.”

While Arsenal have discussed elite targets including Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr, Ndiaye offers multi-positional coverage across both flanks and central attack. Everton currently value the player at around £75 million, though his contractual stance may impact valuation as window negotiations proceed.
