Poland Arrests Russian Operative in Plot to Assassinate Dual U.S.-Ukrainian Citizen in Warsaw
In a disclosure highlighting Russian intelligence operations inside NATO borders, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced Thursday that Moscow directed an assassination plot against a U.S. citizen on alliance territory for the first time since the war in Ukraine began, according to a report from The Associated Press.
Tomasz Siemoniak, the minister overseeing Poland’s intelligence services, told the AP that the counter-assassination operation was executed in direct collaboration with American security agencies.
