TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 Brings 10,000 Tech Leaders to San Francisco
Six stages, 300 startups, and the Startup Battlefield 200 will anchor the October conference

SAN FRANCISCO — More than 10,000 founders, investors, operators, and technology leaders are projected to gather at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, scheduled for October 13–15 at San Francisco’s Moscone West convention center. The three-day conference will focus on company building, capital allocation, and technological commercialization.
Moscone West is located in San Francisco’s South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood and has hosted major technological milestones, including key developer conferences and product reveals from some of the world’s largest technology firms. The venue’s selection underscores San Francisco’s continued status as the primary geographic hub for venture funding and artificial intelligence research.
The event’s six distinct stages will host more than 200 sessions led by upwards of 250 industry speakers. Programming will cover artificial intelligence, robotics, financial technology, hardware and software infrastructure, and the evolving structural dynamics of the future of work.
The 2026 summit comes during a transitional period for the technology sector. Initial hype surrounding generative artificial intelligence is giving way to demands for business-model sustainability, enterprise integration, and proprietary technological moats.
This year’s programming is structured around those market realities, with practical methodologies for establishing defensible businesses in an increasingly crowded artificial intelligence market, optimizing go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and navigating complex modern fundraising environments.
More than 300 early-stage startups will appear on the exhibition floor. The group includes the Startup Battlefield 200, a curated cohort of raw, high-potential startups selected by editorial staff to present their technologies.
Organizers have also expanded the event’s infrastructure for direct institutional dealmaking. Dedicated networking areas include the Deal Flow Café, which operates alongside AI-driven matchmaking algorithms and structured 1:1 meeting spaces.
These arrangements are designed to streamline introductions between institutional limited partners, venture capitalists, corporate development executives, and seeking founders. The conference will also feature the Startup Battlefield competition, which has served as a significant launchpad within the tech industry since its inception.
Originally debuting in the late 2000s, the competition has historically helped launch prominent tech enterprises such as Dropbox, Fitbit, Cloudflare, Yammer, and Mint. Collectively, past participating companies have raised billions of dollars in follow-on funding and achieved numerous successful exits.
For industry professionals planning to attend, the initial registration window is drawing to a close. Early-rate ticket pricing is scheduled to expire on Sept. 25 at 11:59 p.m. PT, after which registration costs will increase by up to $200.
