19-year-old forward set for Madrid medical following club-to-club agreement with RCD Mallorca
Atlético Madrid have reached a verbal agreement with RCD Mallorca to acquire 19-year-old forward Marc Domenech on a season-long loan deal.
The agreement between the two Spanish clubs includes a purchase option that allows Atlético Madrid to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign. Final administrative details are currently being processed before the transfer is completed.
Marc Domenech is scheduled to travel to the capital to complete a mandatory medical examination in Madrid. Once cleared by medical staff, the teenage attacker will officially finalize his contract with the club. The forward spent time on loan with AD Ceuta last season to gain senior competitive experience, scoring one goal in eight appearances.
RCD Mallorca had previously secured the young prospect with a long-term contract extension running through June 2029 amid growing interest from rival Spanish clubs.
The pursuit of Marc Domenech reflects Atlético Madrid’s strategy of adding young domestic talent while maintaining a competitive primary squad.
