Eashin Motors Opens First iCar Showroom in Al Khobar, Launching V27 and 03T REEV Models
Under the Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Group umbrella, the new facility introduces Chery's range-extended electric vehicles to the Eastern Province.

AL KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia — Eashin Motors, the authorized dealer for the Chinese automotive brand iCar in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, has officially opened its first showroom in Al Khobar.
The launch marks the brand’s physical entry into the Eastern Province. It follows an agency agreement signed in late 2025 between iCar—a brand owned by the Chinese automotive conglomerate Chery Group—and Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Group. Eashin Motors operates under the umbrella of Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Group to manage the brand’s representation in the Eastern Province, while other authorized dealers handle representation across different regions of Saudi Arabia.
The official iCar Saudi Arabia website currently showcases two models, both powered by a Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) powertrain: the iCar V27 and the iCar 03T.
Specifications and Pricing of the iCar V27
The iCar V27 is offered in three trims, all utilizing a Range Extended Electric Vehicle configuration. The powertrain combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that acts as an onboard generator with either one or two electric motors, depending on the chosen trim level.
- Base Trim: Features a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup with a single electric motor producing 248 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.
- Higher Trims: Equipped with an intelligent all-wheel-drive (AWD) system and dual electric motors, delivering a combined output of 449 horsepower and 505 Nm of torque. These AWD trims accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
The total driving range for the V27 is rated between 991 and 995 kilometers under the WLTC standard, while the pure electric driving range spans between 95 and 150 kilometers under the NEDC standard, depending on the trim.
Inside, the vehicle features a 15.4-inch central infotainment screen, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 540-degree panoramic camera, and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems.
Pricing for the iCar V27 in Saudi Arabia starts at 137,885 Saudi Riyals, inclusive of value-added tax.
Specifications and Pricing of the iCar 03T
The iCar 03T is powered by an AWD range-extended hybrid system that pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine generator with dual electric motors. The system generates a combined output of 422 horsepower and 505 Nm of torque.
The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 170 km/h.
Equipped with a 34.31 kWh battery pack, the 03T delivers a pure electric range of up to 144 kilometers under the WLTC standard, contributing to a total combined driving range of up to 801 kilometers.
Key physical and technical attributes include a ground clearance of 220 mm, a five-passenger seating capacity, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, six airbags, a 540-degree surround-view camera system, and a suite of active driver assistance features.
The iCar 03T starts at 133,285 Saudi Riyals in the Saudi market, inclusive of tax.
Technical Overview: Understanding REEV Technology
A Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) is a type of hybrid vehicle that relies primarily on electric motors for propulsion, but carries an internal combustion engine (ICE) to act solely as an electrical generator. Unlike traditional parallel hybrids, the gasoline engine in a REEV does not directly drive the wheels. Instead, it generates electricity to recharge the battery pack or power the electric drive motors when the battery charge drops below a specific threshold. This configuration aims to eliminate range anxiety by allowing drivers to refuel with gasoline while maintaining the driving dynamics of an electric vehicle.
