Brian Armstrong, the co-founder and CEO of Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, has a net worth estimated at nearly $10 billion. Yet, he recently declared on the *Katie Miller Pod* that he finds the entire philanthropic sector suspect. “The common view is that philanthropy is like this noble cause,” Armstrong said. “I guess I have sort of a contrarian view, which is like a lot of charities and philanthropies are actually net negative on the world, and they get captured.”
