Gigabyte Unveils GO27Q24A Gaming Monitor Featuring 240Hz 3rd-Gen QD-OLED Panel

The 27-inch 1440p monitor pairs Samsung's latest QD-OLED technology with a 0.03ms response time, HDMI 2.1, and custom OLED protection features.

Gigabyte has introduced the GO27Q24A, a 27-inch display designed for competitive gaming that pairs a 2560 × 1440 resolution with Samsung‘s third-generation QD-OLED panel architecture. The new monitor targets high-framerate esports, delivering a native 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GTG response time.

Built on Samsung’s updated Quantum Dot OLED technology, the panel features an optimized subpixel layout engineered to improve text clarity and reduce fringe artifacts seen in earlier OLED generations. To protect the organic light-emitting diodes from permanent image retention, Gigabyte integrated its proprietary OLED Care technology, which runs background maintenance routines including pixel shifts and localized dimming for static onscreen elements.

For connectivity, the GO27Q24A includes HDMI 2.1 ports alongside DisplayPort 1.4, allowing high-bandwidth video output for both PC graphics cards and current-generation gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The monitor also supports Adaptive-Sync technology to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering during variable framerate gameplay.

The 27-inch 1440p QD-OLED segment has become a focal point for display manufacturers, competing directly against similar offerings from ASUS, MSI, and Alienware. By combining a high 240Hz refresh rate with the high contrast ratios and per-pixel dimming of QD-OLED, Gigabyte is positioning the GO27Q24A as an all-in-one solution for fast-paced competitive titles and HDR content.
