SpaceX and Tesla hold $1.93 billion in bitcoin following SpaceX market debut
Companies hold combined 30,221 BTC

SpaceX and Tesla are the only two companies among the world’s ten most valuable public firms to hold Bitcoin in their corporate balances as of June 12, 2026. The two companies hold a combined 30,221 BTC, valued at approximately $1.93 billion at prices near $64,000 per coin.
SpaceX debuted on the stock market yesterday with a valuation near $2.1 trillion. The company disclosed in a May SEC filing that it holds 18,712 BTC. These assets were acquired starting in late 2024 at an average price of $35,000 per unit.
Tesla maintains 11,509 BTC. The company made an initial purchase in 2021 and sold a portion of its position in 2022.
Bitcoin holdings represent less than 0.05% of the market capitalization for both firms. According to BitcoinTreasuries, SpaceX ranks eighth among public companies in bitcoin holdings, while Tesla ranks 12th.
NVIDIA and Alphabet lead the list of the ten largest public companies. A company identified as Strategy holds more than 840,000 BTC but is not ranked among the ten most valuable public companies by market capitalization.
