Liverpool Lead Race for Hoffenheim Forward Bouzamana Toure
Merseyside club holds formal talks with Hoffenheim for 20-year-old forward.

Liverpool have held formal talks with Hoffenheim regarding the transfer of forward Bouzamana Toure. The Merseyside club is currently the frontrunner to sign the 20-year-old winger, who is also a target for Manchester United and Arsenal.
Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton and Hove Albion, Brentford, Bayern Munich, and Arsenal have also expressed interest in the player. Toure recorded 14 goal contributions in the Bundesliga last season. He is a left-footed winger and a member of the Ivory Coast national team.
Hoffenheim has set a £43 million price tag for Toure. A transfer at that valuation would represent a record sale for the German club. Toure joined Hoffenheim from Swedish side Hammarby during the previous winter transfer window and is under contract until 2029.
Liverpool are evaluating options for the flanks as Mohamed Salah is set to leave the club for free. Cody Gakpo and Federico Chiesa have also been linked with moves away from the team. Manchester United are considering Toure as a left-sided forward to support Matheus Cunha, while Arsenal are seeking to bolster their left flank.
Liverpool have also been linked with RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande. Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Diomande, whose current contract with the German side runs until 2030.
