Fayoum Security Directorate received a report from the governorate’s emergency police operations room regarding the microbus accident on the Assiut Western Desert Road, with initial indications of injuries. Police and ambulance teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Investigations at the site confirmed that a microbus had overturned. Preliminary findings suggest the accident occurred due to excessive speed and the driver losing control of the vehicle, causing it to flip onto the road. The incident resulted in injuries to five individuals.
All injured parties were transferred to Fayoum General Hospital for medical attention. A formal police report has been registered, and the public prosecution has taken over the investigation.
