TRUMP Meme Coin Dinner Set for Nov. 22 After Senate Bill Fails

Token holders qualify through a time-weighted scoring system as the project's market cap sits 97% below its January 2025 peak.

The operator of the TRUMP meme coin is staging its third presidential gala on Nov. 22, offering proximity to Donald Trump at his Virginia golf club to the token’s largest holders — an event structured just weeks after federal lawmakers failed to pass legislation that would have forced the president to divest or blind-trust his cryptocurrency assets.

Fight Fight Fight LLC, the entity managing the Solana-based token, confirmed the dinner will take place at Trump National in the Washington, D.C., area. The guest list is capped at the top 185 registered holders. Unlike traditional political fundraising where donors buy access through campaign committees, this mechanism routes capital directly into a speculative digital asset whose value has collapsed since its debut.

Qualification relies on a time-weighted scoring system rather than a simple wallet balance snapshot. This formula mathematically rewards investors who accumulated large positions early and held them through severe drawdowns. A final ledger snapshot to determine the seating chart is scheduled for Nov. 12. The 29 highest-scoring wallets secure a VIP reception alongside Trump and three unannounced guests, while the top four receive an 18-karat gold watch bearing the president’s likeness. Organizers explicitly stated that no attendee will be granted a private meeting with Trump, limiting the access to a shared dining room environment.

The timing underscores a widening gap between the administration’s crypto-friendly posture and Congress’s inability to regulate executive financial conflicts. On Sept. 15, the Clarity Act — the cryptocurrency industry’s primary legislative vehicle for establishing federal market structure rules — failed a procedural Senate vote 49-50. Negotiations fractured over ethics provisions targeting Trump’s digital holdings.

While the White House signed off on language requiring covered officials to divest crypto interests or place them in a qualified blind trust, Democrats led by Sen. Elizabeth Warren argued the compromise left exploitable loopholes. Hours before the floor vote, opposition lawmakers pushed for stricter guardrails covering dependent children’s wallets and paid promotional activities. That push ultimately killed the bill, leaving the president’s crypto ventures operating without new statutory constraints.

Those ventures are extraordinarily lucrative. Federal financial disclosures filed earlier this year show Trump generated just over $635 million from the TRUMP token in 2025, derived almost entirely from licensing royalties. His broader cryptocurrency income exceeded $1.2 billion during the same period, with some independent estimates placing the figure above $1.4 billion. These earnings stem primarily from transaction fees and royalty structures embedded in the smart contracts governing his branded tokens, a model distinct from holding appreciating assets.

Investors funding these dinners have absorbed catastrophic losses. The TRUMP token currently trades near $2.04, carrying a fully diluted market capitalization of roughly $576 million. That represents a decline exceeding 97% from its January 2025 launch peak, when retail speculation briefly pushed the project’s valuation past $15 billion. Despite the collapse, the holder base remains active enough to fill 185 seats for a third consecutive iteration of the event.

Previous dinners revealed stark disparities in cost-per-access. The inaugural May 2025 event seated 220 holders, with the 25 VIP attendees averaging $4.8 million in token purchases to secure their spots. Trump remained at that dinner for approximately one hour, prompting complaints from major buyers about limited face time, while more than 100 protesters demonstrated outside the club gates. Conversely, qualification thresholds fluctuate based on market conditions; at an April gathering at Mar-a-Lago, one participant secured entry after purchasing only $3,000 worth of the token, reflecting how deeply the asset had depreciated prior to that specific snapshot date.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $84,803, up 0.77% over the past 24 hours.
