Mobile Market Revives Pumpkin Patch After Rain Canceled Last Year

Free Family Event Replaces Rain-Canceled Festival

Pop’s Midtown Market opens its sixth annual family fun day Saturday, Oct. 17, in Mobile, Alabama, after weather forced the cancellation of last year’s event.

The block party runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2103 Airport Blvd. Organizers confirmed the free gathering will feature a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and vendor market. Attendees can access food trucks, live music, and children’s inflatables.

This year marks a return to normal operations for the family-owned business, which launched following the COVID-19 pandemic. The previous iteration of the festival was scrapped due to rain conditions, disrupting community plans for autumn activities.

No ticketing is required for entry.
