Nanoleaf Expands Into Workspace Hardware With $170 Smart LED Monitor Stand

Smart lighting manufacturer Nanoleaf is venturing beyond wall-mounted decorative panels with the release of its Smart LED Monitor Stand, an ergonomic workspace accessory designed to blend display elevation with customizable illumination. The multi-functional stand is currently listed at $169.99 through Nanoleaf’s online store and Amazon.
The product launch marks a strategic pivot for the company, best known for popularizing modular RGB light panels. As home offices and gaming stations increasingly focus on streamlined ergonomics, monitor risers have become essential components for reducing neck strain by elevating displays closer to eye level.
Built to support heavy-duty desktop setups, the unit raises monitors by up to four inches and can handle screens up to 42 inches wide. It features a maximum load capacity of 154 pounds, accommodating large ultrawide displays or dual-monitor configurations. To support streaming gear and peripheral management, the platform includes 23 mounting holes designed for attaching camera arms, microphones, and other desktop accessories.
Integrated directly into the stand’s chassis is a dual-zone lighting system tailored for work and leisure. A front task light bar generates up to 550 lumens to illuminate workspace surfaces during work hours. On the rear, an ambient light bar features 102 individually addressable RGB zones projecting at a 160-degree wall-washing angle, providing indirect backlighting to lower contrast and minimize eye fatigue in dark rooms.
Software control is handled through the Nanoleaf application, allowing users to customize lighting profiles or sync the device with existing brand lighting. Features include Screen Mirror, which matches ambient lighting to on-screen visuals during movies or gaming, and Rhythm Mode, which reacts dynamically to playing music.
The accessory seamlessly connects across smart home platforms through native support for Matter, the universal smart home connectivity standard established by the Connectivity Standards Alliance, enabling integration with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings setups.
