Israeli Forces Resume Strikes, Violating Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
Renewed Shelling and West Bank Incursions Reported Across Palestinian Territories
Israeli forces continued to violate a ceasefire agreement, resuming aerial and artillery shelling across various parts of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that Israeli warplanes opened fire on eastern areas of Gaza City and the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Concurrently, Israeli aircraft launched airstrikes east of Deir al-Balah and east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a related development, Israeli forces raided the Jabal al-Tawil neighborhood in Al-Bireh city and established a military checkpoint at the entrance to Ein Sinia village, north of Ramallah.
