Planned Power Outages Hit Beheira: Maintenance Work Affects Key Areas
Residents across Damanhour, Delengat, Itay Al-Baroud, Kafr El-Dawwar, and Rashid face temporary electricity and water disruptions.
On Thursday, December 17, the Central Beheira Electricity Company announced power would be cut across several villages and areas. The outages are for essential maintenance work.
Beheira Power Cut Locations
In Damanhour Center, electricity will be cut from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This affects Al-Maahad Al-Dini Street, Kabsa Tower, Pharmacists Tower, and the Akhnoukh and Al-Ishraq Towers area behind the General Hospital. Residents on Al-Farouq Omar Street in the Al-Shariaa wal Qanoun area, Al-Khalayfa, and Manshiyat Al-Awqaf will also experience outages.
In Al-Delengat Center, two separate power cut schedules are in effect. Electricity will be off in Abu Kashik and Abu Sanaaf from 9:30 AM until 1:00 PM. The Al-Sayed Habib area will see outages from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
In Itay Al-Baroud Center, several villages will lose power from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. These include Jabaris, Khamara, Daqouqa, Sheikh Ahmed, Al-Bahi Village, Al-Nibeira, Al-Naqrash, Al-Hilaliya, Al-Alaya, and Al-Salmiya.
Power Cut Schedule
The Local Unit of Kafr El-Dawwar Center and City announced a power cut today affecting the Tarouga Transformer Station. Electricity will be off from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for maintenance work inside the station.
The Tarouga station outage impacts several areas under the Kafr El-Dawwar Local Unit. These include Sidi Ghazi Village Council, Al-Hajjar Village Council, Al-Sayed Al-Shekhini villages, Al-Dawwar, Al-Qadisiya, Al-Sharit wal Jallad line, Bolad, Abis villages (part of Abis VI), Naj’ Al-Sheikh Aoun, Issa Al-Gammal, Saqr, and Abu Matir.
The Local Unit of Rashid Center and City announced a power cut on Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. This affects Rashid City, Burj Rashid Village, and Al-Jadida due to maintenance work at Rashid transformers. During this period, the Al-Jadida station and Rashid pumping station will stop operating. This will lead to an interruption of drinking water supply for Rashid City, Burj Rashid, and Al-Jadida. Further details on electricity services can be found on official channels.
