Giza Police Probe Mystery After Newborn Found Fallen from Second Floor
Newborn Discovered in Kirdasa, Police Investigate Circumstances of Fall

Giza security forces located a newborn infant near the old bus station in Kirdasa, north of the October sector. Major General Mohamed Abu Shmeila, First Assistant Minister of Interior for the Giza Security Sector, was informed of the discovery.
Major General Alaa Fathy, Director of the Giza General Directorate of Investigations, received a report from the October Sector chief. The report, relayed by the Emergency Police Department, detailed the finding of a newborn near the old bus station within the Kirdasa police precinct.
A security team arrived at the scene. Initial examination revealed the infant had fallen from the second floor of a building situated opposite the bus station. Detectives are now probing the incident to determine if criminal intent is involved, such as the mother discarding the child to conceal an illicit relationship, or if the fall was unintentional.
