The 33-year-old Argentine striker Mauro Icardi has emerged as a potential target to ease the tactical burden on Barry. According to a report from Read Everton, journalist Christian Vaquero disclosed on Tuesday that Icardi has been offered to the Premier League club.

While Everton is currently evaluating the forward, Vaquero noted that no formal negotiations have taken place.
