Noel Gallagher’s Priceless Reaction at Jets vs. Dolphins Game
The Oasis guitarist appeared less than thrilled when his signature anthem echoed through MetLife Stadium during New York's loss to Miami.

Attending his second NFL game of the year, Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher was spotted at MetLife Stadium for the New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins game.
However, the “Don’t Look Back in Anger” singer didn’t look amused. He was shown on the jumbotron during the Jets’ “Celebrity Spotlight,” and “Wonderwall”—a song now regularly sung by his younger brother Liam Gallagher during the band’s reunion shows—was played over the stadium’s speakers.
He gave the crowd a little wave while keeping his head planted in his hand. Gallagher looked like he would rather be anywhere else.
At least this game was closer than the last one he attended. Gallagher previously went to the game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Commanders in London, England, part of the NFL’s International Series that has hosted regular-season matchups in the UK since 2007.
The Jets dropped to 2-5 after losing their second game in a row under first-year head coach Aaron Glenn. All but one of their losses have been by one possession. They gave the Dolphins their first win of the year under Jeff Hafley.
Geno Smith’s numbers looked good, passing for 287 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He averaged 9.6 yards per attempt. Braelon Allen led the team on the ground, rushing for 104 yards.
Malik Willis showed out for the Dolphins. He passed for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, he ran for 37 yards and a score.
Noel Gallagher and Oasis’ last time at Jets’ MetLife Stadium
Gallagher and Oasis played two sold-out shows at MetLife Stadium on Aug. 31 and Sep. 1, 2025. It was one of the few stops in North America on the band’s highly anticipated reunion tour itinerary, which marked their first live performances together since their bitter backstage split in Paris in 2009.
Oasis will return to North America during their Live ’27 Tour. However, the only shows in North America will be in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and Paradise, Nevada.
Gallagher is the lead guitarist and primary songwriter of Oasis. After the band’s initial breakup in 2009, he formed the High Flying Birds, releasing hit songs like “If I Had a Gun.”
