Yango Play Unveils ‘Batal El Alam’ Trailer, Sets January Premiere for Essam Omar-Led Series

Yango Play has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming series “Batal El Alam” (World Champion), starring Essam Omar and Gehan El Shamashergy. The series is set to premiere in January.

The streaming platform posted the trailer on its official Instagram account, adding the caption: “This is truly big talk. Who do you think is the world champion?”

“Batal El Alam” Plot Overview

The 10-episode series blends drama, suspense, thriller, action, adventure, and situational comedy. The narrative follows Salah, an African boxing champion who, after losing a world championship, transitions into personal security.

His life undergoes a significant shift when he is tasked with protecting Donia, the daughter of a cunning businessman. Donia, seeking a hidden inheritance, finds herself entangled in dangerous debts owed to Mahrouk, the king of the betting world. The duo embarks on intense pursuits to uncover the secret of the wealth, and throughout their journey, Salah regains his strength and discovers a new path towards love and redemption.
