Actor Ahmed Abdel Hamid Announces Father's Passing on Social Media
Veteran Egyptian makeup artist Mohamed Abdel Hamid, father of actor Ahmed Abdel Hamid, passed away recently following a health setback.
Actor Ahmed Abdel Hamid announced his father’s passing on his personal Facebook page. He quoted the Quranic verse: “O reassured soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], and enter among My [righteous] servants and enter My Paradise.”
Abdel Hamid further wrote, expressing profound sorrow, “With utmost grief and hearts believing in Allah’s decree, my father, the late Haj Mohamed Abdel Hamid Abdel Rahim Hefny, has passed away. The funeral prayer is scheduled for after Asr prayer at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed.”
Mohamed Abdel Hamid had previously experienced a sudden health emergency, necessitating his urgent hospitalization. This development had reportedly caused concern among his admirers and colleagues within the broader Egyptian artistic community.
