Mohamed Kanno leads Saudi Arabia’s scoring in the tournament. He has netted three goals so far. Kanno scored two goals against Comoros. He added another goal against Palestine.
Murad Al-Hawsawi suffered a thigh injury. MRI scans confirmed the extent of his injury.
Kanno’s injury marks the fourth setback for the Al-Akhdar squad. The Saudi team has already lost Jihad Zikri, Ayman Yahya, and Hawsawi during the Arab Cup.
