Fiorentina Sets €35 Million Price Tag as Liverpool and Juventus Track Cher Ndour
Liverpool and Juventus Track Fiorentina’s Rising Midfielder

Fiorentina has set a valuation of €30 million to €35 million ($32.5 million to $38 million) for 20-year-old midfielder Cher Ndour, whose progress is being monitored by prominent clubs in England and Italy.

The right-footed, box-to-box midfielder has earned two senior caps for the Italian national team. Ndour has gained recognition for his size, mobility, and ball-carrying ability, while his technical strengths include defensive ball recovery, vertical drives through central channels, and effective long-range shooting.
Ndour is contracted to Fiorentina through June 2029. The Serie A club would prefer to keep him in Tuscany and continue his development, while the length of the deal gives Fiorentina substantial leverage in the transfer market and establishes a high financial baseline for any early departure.
Liverpool and Aston Villa have joined Inter Milan and Juventus in tracking the midfielder. The interest comes as leading European clubs look for dynamic central midfielders with elite physical traits and high developmental ceilings.
Aston Villa’s pursuit reflects manager Unai Emery’s efforts to increase squad depth and athletic coverage for simultaneous domestic and European campaigns. Inter Milan and Juventus, meanwhile, consider Ndour a key target in their long-term domestic recruitment plans, with high-grade Italian talent important for meeting squad quota regulations set by Serie A and UEFA.
Liverpool’s scouting of Ndour fits the broader roster strategy of head coach Arne Slot and Fenway Sports Group. The club has emphasized versatile, physically dominant players in the 20-to-23 age bracket and has continued monitoring long-term developmental options after a major midfield restructuring that brought in Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Ryan Gravenberch.
Ndour’s baseline market value is estimated at around €20 million, but Fiorentina’s €30 million to €35 million asking price is intended to discourage premature approaches. That figure remains within reach for Premier League clubs, whose broadcast revenues give them greater flexibility when competing for top-tier young talent across Europe.
The chase remains in its preliminary stages. None of the interested clubs has submitted a formal bid, and no direct contract negotiations have taken place. The potential suitors are gathering technical data, assessing transfer parameters, and monitoring Ndour’s performances through the remainder of the season before deciding whether to formalize their interest in an upcoming transfer window.
