Geely Unveils High-Performance Galaxy TT Ultra Electric Sedan with 570hp
The new flagship features 800V architecture, 725km range, and advanced LiDAR technology.

CHINESE automaker Geely has officially unveiled its latest high-performance electric sedan, the Geely Galaxy TT Ultra, alongside a specialized Global Racing Edition. The new flagship model is expected to go on sale next month, though official pricing has not yet been announced.
Built on an advanced 800V system, the Galaxy TT Ultra measures 4.999 meters in length, 1.919 meters in width, and 1.479 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 2.920 meters. The vehicle features a streamlined design with a drag coefficient of 0.22, further enhanced by an active electric rear wing and aerodynamic components manufactured from carbon fiber.
### Performance and Powertrain
The all-wheel-drive variant utilizes a dual-motor configuration, featuring a 180 kW motor at the front and a 245 kW motor at the rear. This combination produces a total output of 425 kW, equivalent to approximately 570hp. The sedan can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 210 km/h. Drivers can also access a specialized boost mode via a steering wheel button, providing additional power for 20-second intervals.
Energy is supplied by a 75.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery provided by CATL. Under the CLTC standard, this battery provides a range of 650 km. Certification documents indicate that other variants will offer ranges of 540 km, 640 km, or up to 725 km, depending on the choice between single-motor or dual-motor drivetrains.
### Chassis and Technology
The vehicle is equipped with a double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link independent rear suspension. It features continuously controlled adaptive dampers and a proactive road-scanning system that adjusts damping settings in real-time. Braking is handled by four-piston fixed front calipers paired with large-diameter wheels.
Inside, the cabin features the Flyme Auto 2.0 system, a floating central display, a slim instrument cluster, and a head-up display (HUD). The interior also includes magnetic mounting points and threaded bases for accessories, alongside a traditional analog clock integrated into the center air vent.
For driver assistance, the car employs the Qianli Haohan H7 system, which utilizes a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. The suite supports intelligent driving functions for both highway and urban environments.
### Global Racing Edition and Market Context
The Global Racing Edition distinguishes itself with additional carbon fiber aerodynamic elements on the bumpers and side mirrors.
The launch of the TT Ultra comes as Geely Galaxy reports strong sales momentum. In June 2026, the Galaxy E5 recorded 6,897 deliveries, accounting for 33.8% of the brand’s total volume, followed by the Galaxy Starburst 7 with 5,932 units. The TT Ultra is positioned to serve as the new flagship in the Geely Galaxy lineup.
### Technical Overview
**800V Architecture**
High-voltage electrical systems, such as the 800V system used in this vehicle, are designed to improve charging speeds and overall energy efficiency compared to standard 400V systems. This technology allows for faster heat dissipation and reduced weight in the vehicle’s wiring harness.
**LiDAR Technology**
LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is a remote sensing method that uses light in the form of a pulsed laser to measure ranges to the Earth. In automotive applications, it provides high-resolution 3D mapping of the vehicle’s surroundings, enabling more precise obstacle detection for autonomous driving systems.
**CATL**
Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) is a leading global manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage systems. The company is a primary supplier for numerous international automotive brands.
