Egyptian Series “Single Mother Father” Gains Traction, Airs on MBC Masr and Shahid

Viewer interest has surged regarding broadcast times and channels for the series “Single Mother Father” following the premiere of its first episodes. The show features a leading cast including Sherif Salama and Reham Abdel Ghafour.

MBC Masr broadcasts the series Sunday through Thursday at 9:00 PM Cairo time. Reruns are scheduled for 3:00 AM and 1:00 PM, accommodating various viewing preferences.

The series is also available concurrently on the digital platform Shahid. Comprising just 15 episodes, “Single Mother Father” is a concise production designed for fast pacing and concentrated content.

The plot of “Single Mother Father” blends romantic comedy with human drama. It follows Salma, portrayed by Reham Abdel Ghafour, an event planner and the ex-wife of Sherif, played by Sherif Salama. The narrative explores their efforts to navigate life post-divorce, balancing their daughter’s upbringing with their professional careers. This dynamic generates both humorous and poignant situations, reflecting the realities faced by many modern families.

The series explores issues surrounding post-separation relationships, illustrating how love and respect can endure even after a marriage concludes.

Alongside Reham Abdel Ghafour and Sherif Salama, the cast includes Hanadi Mehanna, Mohamed Kilany, Laila Azz El Arab, Ismail Farghaly, Engy Wegdan, Shery Mamdouh, and Ahmed Radwan, among other notable actors. Tamer Nady wrote and directed the series, which is produced by Sadiq Al-Sabah.
