The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) confirmed Aouar’s injury. He experienced muscle pain during the team’s final training session. Medical examinations later verified the extent of his condition.
Aouar, who plays for Saudi club Al-Ittihad, was immediately released from the national team’s preparatory camp. He will not participate in the continental tournament.
