Walker’s 128 yards power Chiefs past winless Chargers
Kenneth Walker III posted his fourth 100-yard game while the Chiefs defense ended a multi-week sack drought against Justin Herbert.

Kenneth Walker III rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 18, extending their unbeaten streak in Week 6. The victory dropped the Chargers to 0-6.
Walker recorded his fourth 100-yard game of the season, carrying the ball 19 times. His production anchored an offense that relied heavily on the ground attack against a division rival struggling to stop it. According to Imagn Images game coverage, Walker scored both of his touchdowns during the third quarter.
Patrick Mahomes threw a first-half interception near the goal line. He finished the game with uneven decision-making but managed the offense well enough to secure the win. Tight end Travis Kelce suffered an ankle injury early in the contest and returned to finish the game, according to USA Today Sports reporting.
Xavier Worthy caught seven passes for 73 yards, drawing consistent targets from Mahomes. Worthy faced linebacker Daiyan Henley on several routes during the first quarter.

The Chiefs defense registered its first sacks since a multi-week drought ended. George Karlaftis, Chamarri Conner, Ashton Gillotte and rookie Peter Woods all pressured Justin Herbert throughout the afternoon. Linebacker Jack Cochrane intercepted Herbert, while Nick Bolton led the team with 11 tackles. Bolton brought down Herbert in the second quarter.

Los Angeles entered the matchup without a victory, continuing a collapse that traces back to offseason roster turnover. The Chargers have failed to score more than 20 points in any game this season, according to NFL statistics.
Wide receiver Nikko Remigio fumbled in the second half after handling punt return duties. He had no issues securing the football earlier in the game.

Kansas City returns from its bye week with an undefeated record intact. The Chiefs originally reported these player evaluations through Chiefs Wire, a USA Today Sports property.
