Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Surfaces: Early Details Emerge from Benchmarks
Geekbench listing reveals key specifications and performance metrics for Samsung's upcoming budget 5G phone.

Samsung appears to be preparing a 5G version of its Galaxy A07 smartphone. This development comes just months after the 4G variant’s initial presentation.
The Galaxy A07 5G was recently spotted in the Geekbench database. This listing provides an initial look at the device’s potential hardware specifications.
The device carries the model code SM-A076B, which corresponds to the Galaxy A07 5G. According to the Geekbench entry, the smartphone runs Android 16. It also includes 4 GB of RAM.
The phone features an octa-core processor for performance. Six of its cores are clocked at 2.0 GHz, while two operate at 2.4 GHz. These specifications strongly suggest the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. This particular chipset has previously appeared in other budget 5G devices from the company, including the Galaxy A06 5G.
In Geekbench benchmark tests, the alleged Galaxy A07 5G achieved a single-core score of 729 points. It also recorded 1,878 points in the multi-core test. These performance figures position the device firmly within the entry-level 5G smartphone category.
Rumors suggest an official announcement for the device could happen by the end of this month or in early January. The Galaxy A07 5G is expected to bring limited but meaningful improvements compared to its predecessor.
