Mexican Navy Plane Crash Kills Five Off Texas Coast

The Mexican Navy reported five fatalities Tuesday after one of its small aircraft crashed off the coast of Galveston, Texas. Eight individuals were aboard the plane at the time of the incident.

Five people died in the crash, while two survived, and one remains missing, the Navy confirmed. The aircraft was on a humanitarian medical transfer mission when it went down.

An investigation has been launched to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
