Suzuki faced a challenging year in Spain during 2025. The veteran Japanese automaker concluded the past year with 5,683 registered units. This volume of new car sales represents a 16.68% decline compared to 2024 figures. To reverse this trend and accelerate its European product offensive, the brand has initiated a comprehensive strategy.

Suzuki’s 2026 lineup is poised to generate significant attention. Spearheaded by new SUV models, the Japanese brand is preparing to update one of its key crossovers. The upcoming Toyota RAV4 will play an indirect role in Suzuki’s planned launches for the new year. However, this is not the only new development on the horizon.

Suzuki will introduce its own version of the new Toyota RAV4. Among the key new models Suzuki plans to unveil in the coming months is its rebadged RAV4. The Suzuki Across, an SUV based on the Toyota model, is due for a significant overhaul following the upcoming release of the new-generation RAV4 in Spain.

Stemming from the close collaboration between Suzuki and Toyota, the new RAV4 will once again carry Suzuki badging. This model, like the current Across, will focus on plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) technology. It remains unclear whether the new Across will also incorporate the self-charging hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) powertrains featured in Toyota’s new RAV4 lineup.

Suzuki 2026 Model Offensive

Suzuki will expand its range with a new SUV. Another significant new model is slated for release in 2026, specifically after next summer. While Suzuki has provided limited details on this upcoming launch, the company confirms this new model will play a crucial role. It is expected to bolster Suzuki’s offerings in Spain, particularly following the discontinuation of the Suzuki Jimny and Suzuki Ignis due to stricter European regulations.

This vehicle will be an SUV, with all attention focused on the new Suzuki e Vitara. Despite its name, this crossover will allow the brand to strengthen its commitment to electrified mobility in Europe, marking Suzuki’s first electric SUV to enter the European market.
