Rimac unveiled the Nevera R Founder’s Edition, an ultra-exclusive hypercar. Only ten units will ever exist globally. All ten units already have assigned owners. Each car will be entirely unique, a rare feat in automotive manufacturing.
Mate Rimac presented the Founder’s Edition privately to clients months ago. The response was immediate and overwhelming. All ten units sold out in less than a week. These buyers now form the exclusive “Founder’s Club,” as designated by the Zagreb-based brand.
A two-tone body characterizes the exterior design. The car’s natural forms define its aesthetic, not just color. Clark Yutong Wu, Rimac’s Head of Exterior Design, stated this approach. Designers aimed to emphasize the vehicle’s inherent geometry. They avoided “flashy colors” for attention.
The Nevera R Founder’s Edition boasts 2,107 horsepower. Four electric motors, one at each wheel, generate this immense power. An in-house developed active torque vectoring system controls them. The known Nevera architecture remains. However, Rimac shifted the car’s character. It moves from a Grand Touring hypercar towards a more track-focused sports hypercar.

Each of the ten Founder’s Edition owners meets directly with Mate Rimac. Frank Heyl, the design director, and the design team also join these sessions. They discuss colors, finishes, and materials for every cabin part. This customization happens against the two-tone Nevera R Founder’s Edition base. A Luxury Hypercar with Included Privileges
A central stripe marks the car’s design. This stripe echoes classic American racing cars. It tapers to a mere 2 mm thickness at one point. Inside, door panel embroideries tell Rimac’s story. They reference the brand’s “garage era.” They also commemorate the Concept_One launch. Nevera’s record-breaking achievements are also depicted. The Campus next to the headquarters also gets a nod.
The ten selected owners receive an access card to Bugatti Rimac headquarters. They get invitations to product previews for both brands. Various events are also included. These events feature Mate Rimac’s electric hypercar record attempts. Owners also gain voting rights in future model research and development. These are just some of the special privileges.
Nods to Brand History in a Hyper-Exclusive Car
Asymmetrical seats feature in the Nevera R Founder’s Edition. This design choice references Mate Rimac’s personal Nevera configuration. Owners can choose details like purple leather accents. An indigo blue replica is another option. Each of the ten Nevera R Founder’s Editions will perfectly reflect its owner’s tastes and identity.
The price remains largely unstated. The ten units sold out to existing clients in under a week. The standard Nevera R costs approximately €2.3 million. Only 40 units of that model were made globally. The Founder’s Edition’s value extends beyond its monetary cost. The accompanying privileges make the price almost secondary.
