While Carrick has praised Gabriel\u2019s development, Premier League regulations dictate that players must turn 15 before August 31 of a given season to be eligible to feature in league fixtures during that campaign. Because Gabriel\u2019s 15th birthday fell on October 6, he is legally barred from playing in the Premier League this season.<\/p>\n

On the international stage, Gabriel’s talent has sparked a potential multi-nation tug-of-war. He has already represented England at both Under-15 and Under-16 levels, receiving his first Under-17 call-up for fixtures at St George\u2019s Park against Estonia, Israel, and the Faroe Islands.
