LIVERPOOL, England \u2014 Liverpool have secured the long-term future of midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai<\/a>, with the Hungary captain signing a new five-year contract that ties him to Anfield<\/a> until 2031.<\/p>\n

The agreement ends months of speculation surrounding the future of the 25-year-old midfielder. Negotiations between the player’s representatives and Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes accelerated rapidly in recent weeks before being finalized this week.
