Liverpool’s late-window effort to overhaul its attacking options has encountered stubborn resistance across Europe, headlined by a rejected \u00a350 million opening bid for Brighton & Hove Albion<\/a> winger Yankuba Minteh and a firm rebuff from Real Madrid<\/a> regarding Brazilian forward Endrick<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Merseyside club launched a formal approach for Minteh to strengthen the right side of manager Andoni Iraola<\/a>‘s attack. Brighton turned down the initial \u00a350 million proposal, holding out for a higher valuation despite the 22-year-old Gambia international currently recovering from surgery. Minteh underwent the operation after suffering a leg injury during Brighton’s pre-season match against Roma.<\/p>\n

The injury is expected to keep him out of action for around two months, though the player remains keen on securing a move to Anfield.<\/p>\n

Minteh has registered nine goals and eight assists in league competition across two seasons with the Seagulls. Those numbers have established him as a productive Premier League threat since joining Brighton from Newcastle United for \u00a330 million in 2024.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid responded firmly to Liverpool’s exploratory enquiry regarding the availability of Endrick, as reported by Paul Joyce of The Times, indicating that the club has no intention of allowing the teenage forward to leave.<\/p>\n

Following changes in Real Madrid’s frontline depth, where competition had increased after the arrival of Yan Diomande in a \u00a3120 million deal from RB Leipzig, Liverpool monitored Endrick. The club had previously submitted an \u00a385.6 million package for Diomande, which was rejected by the German club before Real Madrid completed the transfer.<\/p>\n

While Real Madrid maintains that Endrick is unavailable and no formal transfer negotiations are under way, Liverpool continues to pursue additional high-profile options in European football. Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola<\/a> remains a prominent long-term target. A substantial gap in valuation persists, with the French club having set an initial asking price of \u00a3145 million.<\/p>\n

Liverpool remains interested in pairing Barcola with new signing Victor Mu\u00f1oz, who joined from Osasuna earlier in the transfer window for \u00a334.5 million and can operate on either flank.<\/p>\n
