Strategy<\/a>‘s Bitcoin treasury has moved back into positive territory following a five-day market climb that pushed the digital currency above the company’s average acquisition price of $75,385.<\/p>\n

The enterprise intelligence firm holds 840,447 BTC<\/a>, currently valued at roughly $64.97 billion. Trading near $77,000 per token has placed the company’s position at an unrealized gain of approximately $1.4 billion, representing a 2.4% return.<\/p>\n

The recovery marks a decisive rebound from July, when a drop toward $58,000 left Strategy’s treasury balance roughly $13 billion underwater. Bitcoin remains below its peak of $126,000 reached in October.<\/p>\n

Investor response pushed Strategy shares up roughly 10% in Friday pre-market trading to $120, reaching their highest price in two months. The rally coincided with a shift in corporate balance sheet management under Executive Chairman Michael Saylor. Despite a longstanding pledge never to sell treasury holdings, the company has offloaded 6,948 BTC for approximately $432.5 million since May.<\/p>\n

Filings indicate the company liquidated 1,690 BTC for $109 million during the week ending August 9, utilizing the capital to repurchase STRC, its variable-rate perpetual preferred stock, which finalized its holdings at 840,447 BTC.<\/p>\n

Strategy suspended token disposals the following week, instead raising $334 million through MSTR share sales at the elevated prices. Corporate treasury allocated those equity proceeds toward preferred dividends, STRC buybacks, and boosting its cash reserves to $4.8 billion.<\/p>\n

Trading volume accelerated across the broader digital asset market as Bitcoin jumped nearly 23% over five consecutive days, breaking out of a summer consolidation pattern in the low-to-mid $60,000 range.<\/p>\n

The price movement followed statements from President Donald Trump, who pressed Congress on Wednesday to pass the Clarity Act<\/a>. The bill would create a federal digital asset framework dividing statutory authority between the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chair Michael S. Selig<\/a> stated Thursday that agency staff received directives to draft crypto market structure rules in the event that congressional legislation stalls.<\/p>\n
