Accessory manufacturer Nimble has launched the SharePower, a 10,000mAh modular portable charger engineered to separate into two fully functional 5,000mAh battery packs. Featured on Apple’s retail platform and evaluated with an 8.6 out of 10 rating by Engadget, the accessory targets consumers navigating multi-device mobile setups by merging two discrete power banks into a single magnetic chassis.<\/p>\n

When fully assembled, the unit operates as a unified 10,000mAh power bank capable of delivering a maximum combined power output of 35 watts across three available USB-C<\/a> ports. A manual twisting motion disengages the magnetic connection holding the two sections together, splitting the device into twin 5,000mAh power cells. In this detached configuration, each half delivers up to 20 watts of power output, allowing separate users to charge devices independently without staying tethered to a shared central battery.<\/p>\n

To address uneven energy depletion when the cells are used separately, Nimble integrated metallic pogo pins on the interior contact faces of both modules. When the two halves are reconnected magnetically, these contact pins automatically equalize the electrical charge across both internal cells. This equalization mechanism ensures both 5,000mAh batteries maintain an identical charge level the next time the system is split apart.<\/p>\n

Constructed from a rectangular shell made of 100 percent recycled plastic materials, the device features rounded corners and compact physical dimensions. The main exterior chassis features a digital display embedded within a hexagonal design that shows numerical battery percentages upon pressing a side button.
