The company has grown its annual run-rate revenue tenfold over the past six months, reaching the low double-digit millions, according to co-founder and CEO Sean Dorje. Since launching, the startup has registered more than 30,000 developer customers.

Naïve’s platform consolidates the back-end infrastructure needed to establish and operate a business into a single API. By feeding prompts into AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex, users can programmatically orchestrate the formation of a U.S. limited liability company (LLC), set up email accounts, virtual cards, phone numbers, databases, and cloud hosting, and connect to services like Stripe and QuickBooks.

While users must still manually complete identity verification (KYC/KYB) and make necessary payments, the rest of the business administration is automated. Dorje said current clients are deploying these AI agents to run automated businesses, including AI automation agencies, automated TikTok and YouTube channels, and even a fully autonomous rental car agency.

The rise of “vibe coding”—where developers build software using natural language prompts—has accelerated this trend, but running continuous AI agent loops is increasingly cost-prohibitive due to constant model calls and the massive volume of context data transferred between tasks. To address this, Naïve is utilizing its new capital to develop infrastructure aimed at cutting inference costs and improving agent efficiency.

The company is building a serverless runtime that executes agents within lightweight JavaScript environments rather than dedicated virtual machines. This architecture allows developers to pay only when an agent is actively performing a task. Naïve is also building a model router to direct queries to the most cost-efficient models, a memory system to retain business context, and a workload orchestrator.

“Part of running an autonomous company and running agents, like that’s your biggest cost line now, and so the highest growing demand right now, I would say is [for] inference and serverless agents,” Dorje said, noting that the platform is also drawing interest from unnamed enterprise clients.

Naïve, which currently employs 10 people, plans to use the Series A proceeds to hire researchers and advance its core infrastructure projects. Other participants in the funding round included Y Combinator, Zetta, Liquid 2, and angel investors such as Gokul Rajaram, Apollo.io co-founder Tim Zheng, and former HubSpot COO JD Sherman.

Read also:

Google Corrects AI Search Tool After It Promoted Vandalism of Surveillance Cameras

EU Battery Mandate Set for 2027 Offers Exemption Path for Flagship Phones

Teamsters Sue California Regulators to Block Autonomous Semi-Truck Rollout

Naïve, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup, has raised $28.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners as it moves to scale technology that allows software developers to launch and run autonomous businesses.
