The denial follows a report from Lookonchain suggesting a wallet \u201cpossibly linked\u201d to Draper transferred 1,000 Bitcoin<\/a>, valued at approximately $62 million, to Coinbase Prime.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaven\u2019t touched my BTC,\u201d Draper told Cointelegraph on Friday. The discrepancy centers on data from Arkham, which utilizes an AI-powered entity prediction feature to tag digital wallets. These labels are categorized as lower-confidence attributions, intended to serve as clues rather than definitive proof of ownership.<\/p>\n

Draper\u2019s status as a major holder stems from a 2014 U.S. Marshals Service<\/a> auction, where he acquired nearly 30,000 BTC seized during the shutdown of the Silk Road dark-net market. According to Forbes, Draper paid roughly $18.7 million for the assets\u2014an average of $632 per coin. At current market prices, that initial investment is worth nearly $1.9 billion.<\/p>\n
