Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest<\/a> offloaded approximately $4.4 million worth of digital asset-focused holdings on Wednesday, rebalancing its fund portfolios as several equities within the sector experienced session losses.<\/p>\n

The largest sale from the daily trade disclosure involved Ethereum treasury firm Bitmine Immersion Technologies. Ark Invest parted with 120,665 shares of Bitmine valued at around $2 million. Shares of Bitmine closed down 5.6% on Wednesday, mirroring a soft session for digital asset equities.<\/p>\n

In addition to Bitmine, Ark Invest reduced its stake in fintech company Block<\/a> by 13,403 shares, totaling about $1.1 million, and liquidated 12,561 shares of trading platform Robinhood<\/a> worth roughly $1.1 million. The firm also exited 11,314 shares of digital asset enterprise Bullish, valued at approximately $247,000.<\/p>\n

The stock sales occurred amidst broader headwinds for consumer-focused crypto venues. Robinhood recently reported second-quarter financial results that beat Wall Street earnings expectations, yet its crypto-derived revenue plummeted nearly 40% compared to the prior year due to declining trading activity across digital asset markets.<\/p>\n

Simultaneously, Cathie Wood deployed capital into private aerospace technology, purchasing roughly $14.5 million in SpaceX<\/a> stock across several exchange-traded funds on Wednesday. Ark Invest frequently rebalances its disruptive innovation portfolios to manage position sizes and concentrate holdings in higher-conviction themes.<\/p>\n

The Wednesday liquidations contrast with major capital allocations earlier in the week. Over a three-day period preceding the sales, Ark Invest acquired nearly $43.5 million worth of crypto-related stocks, including $18.6 million in Coinbase<\/a> shares and $12.9 million in stablecoin issuer Circle, according to trade reports logged with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission<\/a>.<\/p>\n
