Kasra Aarabi, director of IRGC research at United Against Nuclear Iran, urged British authorities to move decisively against soft-power institutions tied to Tehran. Aarabi noted that the head of the center has traditionally served as the direct representative of Iran’s supreme leader in the country, contending that such an arrangement poses a serious national security vulnerability.<\/p>\n

“The very fact that the supreme leader of the Iranian regime, who is ordering terror plots on British soil, has an office and appointed representative in the U.K. is completely unacceptable,” Aarabi stated, calling for the institution to be closed and for non-British staff to face visa revocations and deportation.<\/p>\n
