Facing relentless Russian aerial bombardment, Kyiv has long sought local manufacturing rights for the advanced air defense hardware. Granting co-production capabilities represents a notable shift in American defense assistance, transitioning from direct inventory transfers to long-term industrial collaboration.<\/p>\n

Beyond his meeting at the White House, Zelenskyy held direct talks with executives from defense contractor Lockheed Martin<\/a> to explore joint defense manufacturing and technical exchanges. Capitol Hill lawmakers are currently preparing to advance Graham\u2019s flagship sanctions bill, which mandates secondary tariffs on nations purchasing Russian crude oil and natural gas\u2014specifically targeting top buyers such as China and India.
