Egyptian Farmers’ Concerns Addressed: Minister Pledges Review of Land Rents

Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk received a delegation of agrarian reform farmers. The farmers and beneficiaries came from Beheira and Aswan governorates. They discussed the field challenges facing them. The meeting aimed to find radical solutions to obstacles. This initiative seeks to increase agricultural productivity. The meeting forms part of the Minister’s regular series of direct engagements with agricultural producers.

Engineer Mohamed El Khatib, Executive Director of the General Authority for Agrarian Reform, attended the meeting. Minister Farouk listened carefully to all problems presented by the farmers.
