Maadi Felonies Case Involves Allegations of Undermining Public Order

The First Terrorism Circuit, convened in Badr and presided over by Counselor Mohamed El-Said El-Sherbiny, is scheduled to hear today, Tuesday, the trial of a defendant accused of spreading false news. The case is registered as No. 14401 of 2025, Maadi Felonies.
The referral order revealed that between 2019 and January 7, 2023, the defendant participated in a terrorist group. The group’s objectives included inciting disruption of public order, endangering community safety and security, impeding constitutional and legal provisions, hindering state institutions and public authorities from performing their duties, infringing on citizens’ personal freedoms, and harming national unity and social peace.
The referral order also indicated that the defendant joined the Brotherhood group, fully aware of its goals, objectives, and methods. She disseminated news, statements, and images supporting the group and its leaders through her social media accounts, aiming to achieve the group’s purposes and create chaos.
