Four Injured as Old Building Collapses in Giza’s Imbaba District
Rescue teams search for victims after a four-story structure collapses on residents.

Four individuals sustained injuries when a residential building collapsed in Imbaba, north Giza, authorities reported. Rescue teams are currently clearing debris, with no fatalities confirmed so far. Major General Mohamed Abu Shomaila, First Assistant Minister of Interior for the Giza Security Sector, was notified of the incident.
The General Director of Giza’s Civil Protection Department received an alert from the emergency police regarding the building collapse and injuries in Imbaba.
The Civil Protection Director promptly dispatched ground rescue teams, coordinating with security forces from the Imbaba police station. An initial inspection revealed an old four-story building had collapsed on its residents.
The four injured individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Search operations continue for additional potential victims under the rubble, though no fatalities have been reported to date. Legal procedures have been initiated, with the Giza Security Director informed and the case referred to the Public Prosecution for investigation into the cause of the collapse.
